A contract by which the contractor undertakes to produce a promised work and the client undertakes to pay the remuneration.

Detailed Explanation

Unlike a service contract, a contract for work requires a specific result. The contractor must produce the work free from material and legal defects. In case of defects, the rights to subsequent performance, withdrawal, or damages apply pursuant to § 634 BGB.
